Where Do I Place My New Sticker

For a large Iowa Standard License plate, place the Registration Renewal Sticker in the bottom, left corner of the rear license plate.  If there is a sticker already on the license plate from a previous renewal, place the new sticker on top of the previous year's sticker.  See diagram below:

For a small license plate, place the Registration Renewal Sticker in the top, left corner of the rear license plate.  If there is a sticker already on the license plate from a previous renewal, place the new sticker on top of the previous year's sticker.  See diagram below:

For any DNR license plates (Goldfinch, Deer, Eagle, Pheasant, or Trout), place the sticker in the bottom, right corner of the rear license plate.  If there is a sticker already on the license plate from a previous renewal, place the new sticker on top of the previous year's sticker.  See diagram below:
